~Professional Career~
Claude Debussy had been learning and composing some kinds of music since he was seven years old. After he had been practicing playing the piano with one of the most amazing and skilled composers of his time. Because of that, he had close relationships with people that were very famous. That led him to get good jobs in places that normally would be practically impossible to get jobs in. After playing the piano for three years, he enrolled in the Paris Conservatoire, which was a school that helped him to get his musical skills up and more advanced. Stéphane Mallarmé's Symbolist gatherings was a place that he was usually invited to play his piano since he had done such a good job of composing and playing music. One of his most famous pieces involved Claire de Lune , which helped out his future later since it was such a beautiful song.
The Deux Arabesques is one of of Debussy's earliest works, which was work that already showed his musical talent evolving. He also wrote the song: Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune, which used a small ensemble that emphasized the instrumental color as well as the instrumental timbre. His music has widely been shown to have difference to what originally was used in his day, which meant using a larger ensemble for such music works such as that one. Prélude was another song that he had played that put him in the spotlight as one of the most famous and leading composer of his era. Some of his later works involved using harmony to create music that would create a single sound, kind of like a single voice. The music used a a fluid sound so that the music would flow correctly and not stop to make awkward silences in the piece. These kind of pieces were like a piece of clothing he was making, as there could not be any mess up, just something that was like perfection.
Claude's later works used symphonies and chord progressions that usually did not allow any unstable or unusual sounds at all. His first works were so different than these works, as they didn't hide any of the song's discords in amazing harmonies. The chords rather put out the impressionist part of the music out there, and didn't hide it. However it made the music somewhat irregular and different than the usual Claude Debussy works. He had made only a few opera songs later on in his musical career, however they continue to make a good impact on our musical future today!
